NO WAY!!! WHEN WAS THERE 3D I DINT EVEN NOTICE
no fucking way u didnt notice it being 3d, there is a major difference in animation
don't kid me, i didn't notice either bruh
have u seen normal animation vs this one? can u not tell the difference? them even walking looks weird to me
i found this to be a normal animation, i even said to myself "woah the animation is so good, which studio could this be?"
Duuude, new generation probably never saw the older animes. The couldn't know old school anime from cgi if they got sucked into an alternate universe and slapped with a cgi golf club.
Been watchin anime since I was 12; Im 32 now...didnt notice
You're just a wee baby kid. See, I'm 33, and I did notice.
It is easy to notice where a frame drops by less than a second animation by hand draw vs a cgi and when they are walking, the fight for example… complex details if you look close you may notice.
You sir, ma'am, whatever else you might wanna prognose yourself as; you seem to lack certain talents in life :D Do you have any good points that make up for this? >: ]
🤣👆 This!
Same I was so focused on the story like this anime kinda reminds me of hotd were there's not a lot of people but there's still people like zombie apocalypse or something that's why I love this I hope the world also gets like this
i think they mean the robot teacher
No! this mostly 2D. there are some parts that used 3D but most of times this 2D. I am interactive media graduate so I can tell if they use CGI
this looks totally different from normal anime tho, i have rarely seen similar anime like this before
When you say 3d, what exactly do you mean? Of course the background is 3d sometimes, but that's rather obvious, so I assume you must mean the character animation. I can tell it's at least partly rotoscoped, probably drawn over cgi models, but that's still 2d drawings. When is the character animation actually just 3d cgi models? Rotoscoping is still 2d drawings.
The reason people are confused by what you're saying is because it's not actually 3d cgi, it might be animated over 3d models, but that's still a 2d animation technique. Unless you're talking about some actual purely 3d cgi character animation that I didn't notice, I can't help but think that your wording is just really confusing.
the 3d models
Seriously there was 3D? Was it the tablet that one girl was using? Inly thing that looked 3D to me.
Some people just cant tell. Their eyes are not able to see it.
How? It's a major difference though. They probably haven't seen anime before
literally where, ive been watching anime for 10+ years and havent seen 3D in this episode
what??? i have been watching anime 10 years as well and can notice how they move and how the background is super different
unless you can point out a specific thats not the robot teacher youre just schizo ngl, the only one that may be 2D is the closeup of the gun in the fight when the guy is on the ground
oml, do you not see the funky walks they do or the animations they express?
nope, all looks pretty standard, maybe the background walking at 12:00? thats pretty standard though, walking at 6:36 also looked fine, the animation is definitely not standard, but I have seen anime with similiar feel, i like it
Idk people probably can see it more then others then ig
It's Rotoscoping
fucking weird
Bros never heard of rotoscoping... Tons of anime us it, it's where the animators animate over actually humans still in 2d, no 3d models used besides the background from what I can tell. Take chainsaw man for example, it uses quite a bit of rotoscoping.
bro is bugging
It's cel shading, using 3D models but applying less shading colors so it appears 2D or flat. It's pretty common nowadays for anime to blend cel shading or CGI and traditional 2D but studios like ufotable and MAPPA are on a whole other level. Though this one did a pretty good job of blending both though the character movements and camera work pretty much tells you that the characters and objects in foreground are cel shaded.
i notice the 3d u will barely noticed it but its clear theres also this laggy feeling like FPS drop in game when playing games i think thats when they also used the 3d
its a different way of using 3d , its 2d drawn over 3d , not just straight up 3 d , that is why its a lil laggy, I guess if you want to , you can call it 2.5d
Sarcasm much?
I didn't say there wasn't any 3D.
I also didn't notice the 3d maybe because it blend so we'll and that's why I love the animation of this anime I'm starting get that feeling why I watch anime
Watch how they move, you will notice frames skipping between exaggerated movements, its fairly new so its pretty good for what level of details its at now
i'll be that guy, but i liked the scars on that back :P
Not gonna lie - the girl is beautiful with or without clothes...
Ohh, boii!
Nothing wrong with it!
It's badass hot.
seconded.
The manga is awesome! You should give it a read.
Yeah, the story is really well written and not afraid to go to really dark places. But it handles them with respect and the characters actually feel like people with hopes and dreams.
this not 3D they did use CGI in some places but this def 2D
My apologies. I phrased it wrong.
no worries honestly it is easy to recognized if anime was completely done by CGI
First episode and i already love it !~
Thank you for the recommendation, this is added to my list. The animation was great and the characters were pretty cool especially Kiriko man those scars look like she's been through a lot also I like scars and characters/ people who have them, they look cool. I know sound like a kid but I do like them I mean look at any character who has scars and tell me they are not cool. Maru might be a kid but he I guess he is hiding some tricks up sleeve huh.
Overall 9.5/10 had nice comedy, action, mystery and story.
You are most sincerely welcome!
You don't sound like a kid.. Scars look attractive to people, it shows they have some masculinity in my opinion. Makes you invest in their story.
You go enjoy the series. I'll see you around. :D
Yep exactly, thank you interpreting where I was coming from. I will and hopefully you can too. Hopefully, I will get to see you around in these comments.
Honestly... This slaps!
Might become another hit this year!
I actually dig the 3D, it kinda fits with the animation style.
And the characters aren't boring looking.
The worldbuilding and mystery.. Love it!
